Rick Manuszak and I fished Wednesday this week to meet the two boat minimum.  From 7:30pm to 8:30pm, the Smallmouth were in the flat area to the west of the launch chasing crayfish in the sand and stone areas just outside the weeds in about five feet of water.  The tube was effective with two fish leaping out taking it as I prepared for my next cast. Those were both qualifying fish that were caught!  So they were practically jumping in the boat last night!  A third fish jumped out next to the boat, but I failed to see if it was another Bass or Pike.  This may be a good area to try again with the rain drainage coming out of the creek near the launch.
