Chippewa Lake has been a high producer, especially this past week.  On Wednesday, there was some lightning concerns with storms coming from every direction.  Finally, between 8:30pm and 9:00pm, the rain came and we all loaded our boats.  With the storm fronts rolling in over several days, both fishing nights saw a lot of good catches and some near three pounds.  John Randle’s fish was the only one to break three pounds.  The near three pound fish that I caught was on the bottom and when I set the hook it was amazing, what a great experience!  Members caught 24 fish weighing in at 42 pounds during Week #3.

Since 2012, this lake has produced 89 fish that weighed almost 158 pounds.  It is good to see the catches spread across many boats and several members.
