My favorite fish has been the Smallmouth Bass like the 3+ pounder pictured to the left caught in May 2012.  A second 4 pounder a year later was caught the same way.  Smallmouth love crayfish and soft plastic tubes work great at mimicking their movements. 

Inch for inch the Smallmouth are a hard fish to top for their beauty and fight.  A very respectable fish deserving the recognition that other fish typical receive instead.  The tube insert picture left is a favorite along with the Venom 2.5″ or 3″ pumpkinseed tube pictured above are a great combination.
